Seamless co-op on PC
Seamless co-op is a community feature, not a Sony multiplayer update. The ayozetr Linux README describes experimental sessions for up to five hunters and separate local split-screen play for two to four players.
The Nexus mod manual was not readable during verification. This page therefore does not assert its author, an installation order, or universal compatibility with both shadPS4 and every native-port fork.
What the Linux maintainer documents
ayozetr's README describes experimental Seamless Co-op lasting across deaths, lamps and areas, with up to five hunters. It separately lists local split screen for two to four people on one PC, each with a controller. The online and split-screen player counts are not interchangeable.
Its documented online setup requires matching game 1.09 and the appropriate server setup. These are maintainer claims, not a session tested by this site. The checked stable application release was 0.51-linux.16, published 22 October 2026; the cited README is fixed to that release tag.
Windows online features have their own limits
Supermedo's fixed windows-v1.9.4 README documents community online play, requires players to use the same co-op server, and says play with bbhost players on The Hunter's Dream co-op pool is disabled in that port. Do not merge this with newer website instructions or another fork's default pool.
These projects are not Sony's official service. No claim is made here about cross-fork interoperability, PlayStation account consequences, or save safety. Read the selected release and server rules before joining.
Questions
How many people can play?
The ayozetr README lists up to five hunters for experimental seamless co-op and two to four players for local split screen. These are separate modes, not a verified limit for every PC project.
Does the same mod work on every PC route?
That was not verified. The unreadable Nexus manual is not evidence of universal shadPS4/native-port compatibility. Follow the specific fork and server documentation.
