  • Central Yharnam: Starting streets. Defeat Father Gascoigne to enter Cathedral Ward; the Cleric Beast branch is optional.
  • Cathedral Ward: Main hub. Defeat Vicar Amelia and inspect the altar skull before using the password door toward the Forbidden Woods.
  • Old Yharnam: Optional branch from Cathedral Ward. Blood-starved Beast opens the Healing Church Workshop route; this is an alternative to the Cleric Beast / Hunter Chief Emblem route.
  • Forbidden Woods: Main path toward the Shadow of Yharnam and Byrgenwerth. A separate cave route reaches the back of Iosefka's Clinic, where the Cainhurst Summons is found.
  • Cainhurst: Optional, indirect branch: from Cathedral Ward go through Hemwick Charnel Lane. Defeat the Witch of Hemwick, carry the Cainhurst Summons from Iosefka's Clinic, and board the carriage at the Hemwick obelisk. There is no direct woods-to-castle passage.

I wanted to hotlink the big wiki diagrams and did not. Those files are the wiki’s. The diagram shows connections: which boss closes the area and where an optional route branches. Central Yharnam is the page to open first.

Areas

Central Yharnam holds the Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne. Cathedral Ward holds Vicar Amelia and the DLC grab. Old Yharnam holds the Blood-Starved Beast and Djura; Darkbeast Paarl is in adjacent Yahar’gul and can open a shortcut into Old Yharnam. The Forbidden Woods hide the Shadow of Yharnam and a path toward Cainhurst’s invitation. Cainhurst itself is a carriage ride, not a walk out of the woods.

Further areas — Byrgenwerth, Yahar’gul, the Nightmare frontiers, the hamlet — stay on the walkthrough until they earn their own pages.
