The difference I felt in the sources, not in a made-up duel, is structure. Elden Ring gives you a map and lets you leave. Bloodborne locks doors behind lamps and expects you to learn one street. Combat: Elden Ring offers shield builds, ranged magic and spirit summons in supported encounters. Bloodborne also has shields, but its combat emphasis is different. Bloodborne asks you to shoot, dodge, and hit back to rally. I will not call either one objectively harder.

A short table in sentences

World: open fields versus Yharnam’s stitched districts. Healing: flasks you allot versus blood vials you carry and farm. Recovery: Elden Ring does not use Bloodborne’s default rally mechanic; special equipment exceptions should not be confused with the baseline combat loop. Platforms: Elden Ring is multiplatform. Bloodborne is not.

Both punish greed. That sentence is the entire shared review.

Questions

Which is harder?

Unanswered on purpose. Bloodborne uses a more constrained route and weapon/build choices still change the challenge. Elden Ring’s difficulty depends on whether you leave the boss and explore.

Is Bloodborne on PC because Elden Ring is?

No. Elden Ring’s PC release does not imply one for Bloodborne.
