In GAME Watch's original report of the 22 July 2026 CEDEC talk, Yoshida expressed puzzlement about the absence of PS5/PC versions and a sequel, and hope for future releases. Those remarks do not confirm a sequel or assign it a year.
Sony's animated film announcement is a different project. Neither a film announcement nor a fan concept trailer supplies a Bloodborne 2 production announcement.
